"Warm Bodies" is not Twilight-ish!

Summit Entertainment's upcoming movie "Warm Bodies", announced to be hitting the theaters in August 2012, is now one of the most anticipated movie for next year. The film is about a tormented zombie (Nicholas Hoult) who experiences a profound transformation after entering into an unusual relationship with the daughter (Teresa Palmer) of a military leader charged with eradicating the walking dead. As the unlikely pair builds a tenuous bridge between the living and the dead, those on both sides of the battle begin to sense that nothing in their world will ever be the same again. Warm Bodies is based on the novel by Isaac MarionThe film receives lots of anticipation because of its unique plot and it has been described in short as a Zom-Rom-Com -- that's a zombie romantic comedy.

Few days ago, the Warm Bodies promo poster started to float around the internet, and everybody noticed that it is kinda "Twilight-ish". Alright, alright! Let's say the posters are really look-a-like as what you can see above, and I can't blame people from comparing the two, but as far as I know, the photo is NOT the official poster. Isaac Marion tweeted, "Regarding the uh...familiar-looking Warm Bodies "poster" floating around: it's NOT an official promo, DEFINITELY not the poster. Stay tuned".

And come on, the fact that these two movies are both Summit Entertainment's precious projects does not prove or mean that they are alike! I've read Warm Bodies and it is way different! Once i started i just couldn't stop reading it. The characters are really likable and the story has lots of humorous moments. I must say people should read this book and never dare comparing it to Twilight because the only thing that remotely resembles it from Twilight is the supernatural romance. The rest is a VERY different story.

I also noticed that long before, Teresa Palmer has been dubbed as Kristen Stewart's look-a-like,too. This is perhaps one of the reason why people keeps comparing these movies. Just see for yourself.

(By the way, for me Teresa is way different and she's a happier version of KStew. I've seen her in I Am Number Four, The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Take Me Home Tonight and she is really good! I can see that Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer's tandem in this upcoming movie will make a mark.. really. #justsaying)
